New York Tack Store is not the Ordinary Shop for the Horsemen. We know horsemanship is the art of maintaining a horse and we are working hard to making and selling horsemen equipments an art.
We are horsemen first then the retailers and we know how all the horsemen love their horses and care about their riding and horse equipment. Our deep association with the horses is setting us apart from other retailers selling horse equipment.
We specialize in three very important parts of the horse rider’s gear, Boots, Glove and Half chaps. Wearing a well fitting boot while riding a horse is as important as wearing a helmet, similarly the glove should be so delicate yet strong that your hand can feel the reins. We take pride in specializing in sourcing the best available boots and glove for horse lovers around the world.
We do not just buy and sell whatever is available out there. We source our products from the very few selected manufacturers who have mastered the art of making equipment for the horsemen.
 For example, our boot manufacturer, “Akbar Azam” is from the Indian sub continent, which is making the horse riding boots since 17th century. They are the boots making experts whom in their local language call “USTAD”. One of the USTAD’S name is Mr. Saleem who learned the art of boot making from his father USTAD Riaz. Ustad Saleem and Riaz’s grand Father learned the art of boot making Mr. Chappel who as ten years old was apprenticed to a German shoemaker in 1870s. Mr. Chappel used to make boots for the British Army officials in India.

These expert boot makers carefully handcraft all the boots using best available materials. Before they start hand crafting the boots, the well-educated designers using modern computer added designing techniques and software design them. Most of the designers have been trained in modern Italian shoe making schools.
So the boots we sell are carefully handcrafted by using centuries old family techniques and they are technically so advanced as they are designed by using most modern Designing techniques.
